Today Nayun’s dad brought her homework assignments and
six books to read. The homework consisted of completing the sentence with the matching
picture, looking for clues in the pictures and selecting the long vowel words. After
she finished the homework assignment, Nayun read five books, but the last book
was somewhat above her reading level and she didn’t want to read it. She was somewhat
tired by the fifth book, so I told her that if she finished reading the book I
would read to her the sixth book. She finished her reading and I helped her
with the last book. She made some mistakes while she was reading but I went
over those words with her. I only have one tutoring session left with Nayun,
she is a sweet little girl and I will miss her.
