Mohammed forgot his vocabulary notebook for tonight's session, so we decided to focus on speaking about culture instead. Over the weekend he went kayaking with a friend, so he is currently looking for one to buy. This lead to a discussion about my conversation partner experience at the Rez a few weekends ago, and Mohammed was amused to learn that some of his friends joined me on our canoeing adventure. Later Mohammed decided to share a story from his honeymoon in which he travelled to Munich, Germany, just to get his rental car towed within the first few hours of his stay! Somehow we ended our session conversing about the differences in cleanliness between men and women and differing personality traits between "cat people" and "dog people". It was a fun session full of culture and silly past experiences. I noticed Mohammed was using the past perfect tense a lot, and he even corrected himself when he made any errors.
