During today’s tutoring session I got the opportunity to help Dhawi improve his speaking skills. Dhawi and I went to the lounge of Campus Circle and talked about the differences from Kuwait and the USA. I taught Dhawi some of the different types of greeting that you use when talking to people. All greetings will vary from with whom you are speaking with. We went over refusal, agreement, do/don’t, and time importance. I believe he had fun with the interactions and gave him a better idea on what to do when interacting with other American’s.
