Today I observed V. Davis Grammar Class.  I really liked how the Professor involved the students in the lesson. The lesson covered the simple past tense.  The deductive approach was used.  The professor kept it fun and interesting by using a  kinetic activity, which involved the use of throwing a ball to each student.  The ball had a verb on it and she required  them to use the verb to ask a fellow student a question.  The students also worked in groups and completed a worksheet from their books.  I noticed how the professor strolled around during this time to collect errors and feedback was given to the class as they reviewed the worksheet.  I learned a lot from these techniques and will utilize in my teaching and lesson plans.
