For my 4th conversation partner session, I attended my 3rd conversation workshop. This workshop went similar to the previous two, and the same cultural trends keep appearing. We discussed many subjects that occur during day to day communication, such as greetings, offering and accepting, and disagreements. Again I have seen how the smallest quirk in a language or interaction can serve to offend or compliment someone. These social situations change from country to country, and it is especially helpful for the students to review these types of situations, as they can make or break an interaction with a native speaker. It was a very interesting session.
