        Yesterday I had the opportunity to meet with my tutee from CIES (Khalid) to help him with his presentation that was due today. The day before Khalid and I had met to go over some good questions to ask his classmate to be able to complete his presentation that was due on his classmate. He came back to me yesterday with the answers his classmate provided him. I corrected his misspelled words and was able to provide him with explanation on why it was incorrect. He appreciated my input very much and kept encouraging me to correct him every time we was to make a mistake. After, we corrected all of the errors he mad we put the questions and answers into a power point. I let Khalid do all of the work and just guided him step by step on how to properly create his power point. During this time Khalid asked me why the English language has so many different grammar rules compared to his country. I told him I will have to ask my professor and get that information back to you! Apart from that everything turned out good and Khalid was very satisfied with the outcome of his power point presentation.
