        My last class observation yesterday was by far my favorite for many different reasons. I attended Ms. Jasmine Carnell’s speaking class for foundation 1A speakers. Her students where so welcoming and joyful to be around with all of their positive energy in trying to learn the English language. All six of her students were very interactive with each other and try their hardest to completely understand everything that the instructor says to them. They got to play a neat little game the instructor put together for them to review what they went over in their last class meeting together. When the students needed help to think of a word every student in the class was fighting to give the most help possibly. When the student still did not understand the instructor would keep them from translating in their own native language and give pictures and example using the whiteboard. The instructor focused just about every minute of the class in group interactions. She explained to me she does this to give other students the opportunity to help each other out as much as possible so they can all learn something new together as a whole.
