Matthew_TS#14

For this meeting with Matthew and David, Mrs. Hong requested that I work on reading with them. As stated before, the boys (especially David) do not enjoy reading . They try to rush through their reading as if it were a race. I have to remind both boys to SLOW DOWN and enjoy what they are reading. David often can read a whole chapter without ever being able to identify the most important information. The biggest struggle for me is getting David to not throw a fit while also finding a way for him to slow down his reading so he can truly comprehend it. I tell him to read a page, then I read the following page at a natural rate. Then, I follow up with comprehension questions to make sure he truly attained the information that was needed.
