CP #3

This conversation partner meeting with Ahmed was particularly enjoyable. My friend Stephanie joined us. We met at the Tea House at Pitaria on West Tennessee St. It's a tea shop connected to a Greek/Mediterranean restaurant, and they house hundreds of kinds of teas. After getting our tea, Stephanie, Ahmed and I sat down to chat for about an hour and a half. I wanted Ahmed to learn a little about German culture from Stephanie, for she has been learning German over the past few semesters and had visited Germany recently. We discussed traveling, vacations, restaurants, and many kinds of food over the course of the afternoon. All fun stuff! It was a very good conversation hour, and I definitely think all participants learned a little something about another culture.
